As childhood supporters of the Club, we are based close by Prenton Park and always looking for ways to support the local area. The Simple Lighting logo will be emblazoned across the Club’s social media brand right from the Carabao Cup’s start, commencing with the team’s home ground match against Harrowgate Town.
Tranmere Rovers have been a local professional football club since 1884 and is a firm staple of the Birkenhead community. The team has been a shining star of success, blasting through The Football League ranks up to EFL League One in 2019. It’s almost 140 years of success has seen the Club appear in the playoffs for the Premier League three times and be proud triple FA Cup quarter-finalists.
Prenton Park has been the Tranmere Rovers’ home for over 100 years and has recently seen a vast volunteer renovation project by committed fans in preparation for the upcoming season. The project is aptly named ‘Project Prenton Park,’ and updates include a thorough internal and external deep-clean, followed by stage two renovations and repair. Attendees of upcoming matches will see a completely new Prenton Park ready to go for the 2020/2021 season.
Simple Lighting will support the Tranmere Rovers throughout their 2020/2021 season, commencing with the Carabao Cup. The match represents Mike Jackson’s first competitive match leading the Club and the first-ever game between Harrowgate Town and the Tranmere Rovers. The Carabao Cup is the sixty-first EFL Cup season and will see 70 teams in 35 matches from across EFL Leagues One and Two and the Championship play for the next round of the competition.
As childhood fans and avid supporters of Tranmere Rovers, we were first to apply and secure the much-coveted sponsorship.
