When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. You can use the chart below to match the wattage of an incandescent to its LED counterpart. LEDs use less power and save money.
Warm lighting is similar to conventional lighting and has a softer feel. This lighting is perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.
Daylight - The colour of the lighting is used to represent ‘daylight colour’ indoors. It has neither the softness of warm white or the starkness of cool white.
Cool white - Is a brighter whiter light and is more suited for the bathroom or kitchen.
DALI dimming function (0-100%)
DALI is a 2-way communication protocol used to manage and communicate with different lighting system parts. Powered by that technology, this LED driver is compatible with DALI and DALI 2 dimming systems and provides DALI dimming functions from 0% to 100%!
Kindly note that this LED driver requires other DALI-powered devices. Its dimming feature is only available with other DALI devices. If you have an existing DALI system or plan to have one, this LED driver can help enhance your setup! With it, you can dim/brighten, select scenes, switch between colours, and more. This LED driver is compatible with the original DALI and the improved DALI 2 technology, delivering a more extensive scope of connectivity.
Compatible with Smart LED Lights (DALI controller required)
You can use this LED driver with your smart system if you have a DALI controller. Why should you use smart lights? Because it is more effortless to manage, cost-effective, and energy-efficient!
Picture you left for a trip but forgot to turn off your lights. The problem is you will be gone for a week, and your lights will run continuously. With an intelligent lighting system, you can control your fixtures remotely with your mobile phone! Also, the automation from the smart fixtures can elevate your property's security. You can pick wake-up and sleep hours so your fittings will initiate at distinct periods, creating the presumption that somebody is home!
200w LED Driver, 12v DC or 24v DC
Low-voltage LED lights require an LED driver since you cannot wire it directly to the mains circuit. So, if you need one, get our 12v DC or 24v DC LED driver! Before purchasing, check the input voltage of the LED fitting and make sure it is the same as the driver's output voltage. So, if your low-voltage LED strip light or cabinet light is 12v DC, buy a 12v DC LED driver. Conversely, if it's 24v DC, then choose a 24v DC driver.
Also, this LED driver has a maximum capacity of 200w. If you're designing to link several fixtures, guarantee their total wattage does not exceed 200w. If you're not watchful of this, the LEDs and the driver may get ruined!
Mains Wireable - Connect Stright to the Mains Circuit
Because this is a mains wirable LED driver, you can connect it straight to the mains circuit. Either hardwire it to the primary power supply to control your fixtures with a standard light switch or dimmer on the wall, or you can add a plug at the end of the driver to plug your fixtures into an empty socket. The hardwiring offers a pristine, more elegant and built-in look. However, it demands more knowledge and skills in electrics. On the other hand, adding a plug is more DIY-friendly, but you have exposed wires to think bout after the installation, and an empty socket should always be near.
If you're unsure about installing it, it's best to contact an electrician to guarantee everyone's safety!
IP67/IP65 Rated - Perfect for Indoor and Outdoor Applications
Because this LED driver is IP67/IP65-rated, you can use it for indoor and outdoor applications! This device will not malfunction even if it's accidentally exposed to splashes and jets of water! So, if you want to illuminate your kitchen, bathroom (even zone 1), bedroom, dining room, living room, home office, storage room, wardrobe, game room, pantry, hallway, patio, garage, garden, and shed with captivating low-voltage strip lights and cabinet lights powered by this high-performance LED driver, you have nothing to worry about!
Is it okay to use this LED driver underwater? It's still best to look for one with a much higher IP rating than this if that's the application you're after.
