30w LED Driver - 12v or 24v - Dali 2 Compatible

This LED driver is powered by DALI, a 2-way communication protocol used to control and communicate with the components in a lighting system. It is compatible with DALI and DALI 2 dimming systems and provides dimming functions from 0% to 100%!

Please note that this LED driver requires other DALI-powered devices. Its dimming feature is only available with other DALI devices. If you have a DALI system or plan to upgrade to one, this LED driver will significantly help your setup! With it, you can dim/brighten, switch between colours, complex scene-setting, and other fixture-specific functions. This driver is compatible with the original DALI and the upgraded DALI 2 technology, giving you a broader range of connectivity.

While many LED fixtures are mains-powered, there are low-voltage fittings that require an LED driver to regulate the power supply. This LED driver is available in 12v DC or 24v DC. When purchasing, ensure that the input voltage of the fitting is the same as the output voltage of the driver. So, if your LED under cabinet light is 12v DC, buy a 12v DC LED driver. Alternatively, if it's 24v DC, then pick a 24v DC driver.

Additionally, this LED driver has a maximum capacity of 30w. If you're going to connect multiple fixtures, ensure that their total wattage does not exceed 30w. Otherwise, both the lights and the driver may get damaged!

Aside from that, this LED driver is equipped with several safety features, such as short circuit, overload and over voltage protection. It also has a built-in active PFC function. With these qualities, you are assured that your lighting system is capable and safe to use! It will function how you want it to, without compromising the overall safety of your entire home.

Since this LED driver has an IP20 rating, it is only suitable for indoor applications, except the bathroom. It does not have enough protection against liquids, so we strongly advise keeping it away from rooms where water is frequently present. Nevertheless, you have nothing to worry about because it will not limit the areas where you can install. You can still pair this LED driver with the low-voltage cabinet lights or strip lights in your dining room, kitchen (far from splash zones), bedroom, living room, hallway, storage room, pantry, home office, game room, wardrobe, etc.

For bathrooms and outdoor areas, you need an LED driver with a higher IP rating.  

Because this LED driver is mains wirable, you can link it straight to the mains circuit. You can hardwire it to the primary power supply to control your lights with a regular light switch or dimmer on the wall, or if you choose another method, you can add a plug at the end of the driver so that you can plug your fixtures into an empty socket to turn them on/off. While the first option will give you a built-in setup, it demands more skills. On the flip side, the second option is more DIY-friendly, but wires may be visible, and you need to have a socket nearby.
