When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. 42w LED Driver
People prefer LED lights over traditional lighting fixtures because of their superior light quality and performance. They do not produce as much heat (negligible only) and have a longer lifespan. In addition, LED lighting can significantly reduce your carbon footprint, benefiting the environment.
While some LED fixtures are mains-powered, you can wire them straight to the primary circuit, others have a low voltage. That is why you will need an LED driver to help control the power supply for your LED lamps and make them function. This LED driver has a maximum load capacity of 42w. Ensure that the fixtures you’ll connect will not exceed the limit to avoid damaging the driver and your lights.
Compatible with DALI, Push Dimming and 0-10v Dimming
This LED driver will enable you to convert your LED panel lights into dimmable ones. Why would you want to do that? Dimmable lights are more energy efficient than non-dimmable ones and have a longer lifespan. How so? Whenever you dim the fittings, the brightness goes down, and so does the power consumption!
With this driver, you can do three types of dimming. If you have a Dali system, you can link it as it's Dali-compatible. If you don't, it's also compatible with push dimming and 0-10v dimming. Mains Wirable (Wire Directly to the Mains Circuit)
Since this is a mains-wirable LED driver, you can link it straight to the mains circuit. Either hardwire it to the main power supply to manage your panel lights with a classic light switch or dimmer on the wall, or you can add a plug at the end of the driver to plug your fixtures into a vacant socket. While the hardwiring offers a spotless, more refined and built-in look, it requires more knowledge and mastery in electrics. On the other hand, adding a plug is more beginner-friendly, but you have exposed wires to deal with after the installation, and an available socket should always be close.
