When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. You can use the chart below to match the wattage of an incandescent to its LED counterpart. LEDs use less power and save money.
Warm lighting is similar to conventional lighting and has a softer feel. This lighting is perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.
Daylight - The colour of the lighting is used to represent ‘daylight colour’ indoors. It has neither the softness of warm white or the starkness of cool white.
Cool white - Is a brighter whiter light and is more suited for the bathroom or kitchen.
Exceptional Brilliance! 800 Lumens Per Metre
When looking for one of the best lighting solutions in the market, LED lights would most likely come out on top. They are long-lasting, cost-effective, eco-friendly, low-maintenance, and, most importantly, extremely efficient! They can transform most of the electricity they consume into light, with a significantly small part ending up as waste. As a result, even if they have a low wattage requirement, LED lights can still produce exceptional brilliance!
Powered by that same technology, this LED tape light only needs 8w to produce 800 lumens maximum brightness (per metre). Aside from that, it has a broad 180-degree beam angle and a lengthy average lifespan of 30,000 hours—ten times longer than conventional light fixtures!
24v DC - Requires an LED Driver
Because this LED tape light is 24v DC, you will need an LED driver to power it. What type of LED driver do you need? Will any LED driver do?
To know which LED driver to use, you must perform a simple math. You need to add the total wattage per meter of the tape lights you will use. Then, choose a 24v DC LED driver with a capacity that is equal to or higher than the total wattage of the tape lights. Never select an LED driver that has a lower maximum load because the system may not work, or the driver will overload and damage the tape light.
5 Year Warranty
We offer a five-year warranty with this LED tape light so that you can enjoy a bright space for a long time with peace of mind! Shopping online has pros and cons. It’s water-resistant, meaning jets and splashes of water will not affect the tape light and cause it to short-circuit or malfunction!

Warm White Light, 2700K
This LED tape light can produce a warm white light LED colour. How does it differ from the other colour temperatures in the spectrum?
Unlike cool white light, which has a crisp bluish hue or natural white light, which has no hints of blue or yellow (like a cloudless sunny day), warm white light has a yellowish shade that is similar to an old incandescent bulb. This LED colour is typically used for ambient lighting because it creates a relaxing and cosy environment. If you want to ensure that your living room or reception room is welcoming to your family and guests, add this LED tape light to bring in that warmth!
Recommended to Use with our LED Profiles and Controllers
This LED tape alone will give you a fantastic lighting experience. However, if you want to level it up, we suggest pairing it with our LED profiles and controllers! An LED profile acts as a heatsink, so your tape lights will not overheat when it’s switched on for extended hours and ensure that they live through their extended lifespan. Also, an LED profile makes the entire installation look more elegant and finished!
As for the controllers, because this tape light is compatible with different variations of them, you have more options for managing your lights. You can use a regular wall controller, a handy remote control or an advanced smart home controller that allows you to connect the tape lights with Alexa or Google Home!
