When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. You can use the chart below to match the wattage of an incandescent to its LED counterpart. LEDs use less power and save money.
Warm lighting is similar to conventional lighting and has a softer feel. This lighting is perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.
Daylight - The colour of the lighting is used to represent ‘daylight colour’ indoors. It has neither the softness of warm white or the starkness of cool white.
Cool white - Is a brighter whiter light and is more suited for the bathroom or kitchen.
Dotless LED Strip
It’s undeniable that LED strip lights are one of the most versatile lighting solutions you can get. It’s a ribbon-like strip with multiple LED chips and a strong adhesive backing. Because of the nature of its design, some strips would have a dotted effect, especially those with LED chips that are spaced out too far. If you dislike that spotty look and are looking for a dotless LED strip, your best option is our COB LED strip!
This strip light has a continuous uniform light, making it ten times more pristine than a strip light with an apparent dotted glow. Also, it has a slimline design of only 2mm deep, allowing it to fit within narrow gaps or under/behind furniture pieces. It’s commercial-grade lighting, so you can use it in domestic residences or commercial establishments.
Our LED Strip has a CRI >90, which is important for the retail sector as the colours look much more vibrant under lights above 90 CRI.
Available In Warm, Natural and Cool White LED
With this COB LED strip, you can have task and ambient lighting since it's available in cool, natural and warm white light! If you have no idea what each colour looks like, here's a simple guide.
Cool white light is found on the cooler end of the spectrum and has a bluish tint. It's mainly used as task lighting since it's stunningly brilliant, giving you a good view of the space. On the other hand, natural white light sits at the middle of the spectrum and does not have a shade of blue or yellow. Like cool white, this colour is also used as task lighting since it's radiant yet comfortable on the eyes. Alternatively, warm white light resides on the warmer end of the spectrum and has a yellowish tone. It's ideal for ambient lighting since it creates a cosy and relaxing vibe.

Smart Home - Control From APP or Smart Speaker
When managing this COB strip light, you won't have any issues because there are many ways to control it! One way is by doing the basics - connecting the strip to an LED driver and wiring to the switch or adding a plug at the end and plugging it into a socket.
If you want a more modern approach, you can hook your strips to a smart home controller and manage your lights using an App or Smart speakers like Alexa or Google Home. If you have this system, you won't need to walk just to switch your lights on/off. All you need to do is move your fingers and turn them on using your phone or just say, "Alexa, switch on the living room strip lights", or "Google, turn off the kitchen strip lights." Easy peasy!

24v DC - LED Driver Required
This COB strip light is low voltage, so you’ll need a dimmable or non-dimmable 24v DC driver to make it work. You cannot connect it directly to the mains because doing so may ruin your lights. To know what kind of LED driver to use, you’ll have to do simple math!
Since this COB strip runs at 14 watts per metre, you’ll have to multiply the number of meters you’re using by 14 watts and then round up to the nearest available LED driver. So, if you’re using 5 metres, multiply it by 14 watts, and the driver you’ll need is 100 watts (next available driver). Remember to always round up to what your strips require!
Recommended To Use With Our LED Profiles
If you want your strips to look more finished and clean, pair them with an LED profile! An LED profile is a housing where you encase your strip lights to make them look more elegant and presentable. Aside from that, it keeps your strip lights safe from curious fingers, dust and dirt. Although, there’s no guarantee that your strip lights will be 100% secure from water. So, before mounting it in areas where water or liquids are frequent, ensure that your stip lights are waterproof (IP65 and up).
In addition, before you purchase a profile for your COB strip, double-check the measurements to see if it’ll fit. This will prevent you from being disappointed and wasting your money!
