LED Tape, Warm White 10w P/M 3000K

LED lighting is one of the best discoveries in the lighting industry. It is cost-effective, low maintenance, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. However, on top of all those, it is efficient! LEDs can convert most of the power it consumes into light with very minimal becoming waste (heat). As a result, it can sufficiently brighten your space without forcing you to pay a high price!

Powered by that same technology, this LED strip light only requires 10w of power per metre to produce 1198 lumens maximum brightness with a 120-degree beam angle. Also, it has an extended life expectancy of 50,000 hours which is ten times longer than a non-LED light fixture!

This is a 12v DC LED strip light, so it requires a 12v DC LED driver to work. But what about the wattage? What should you get? To determine the appropriate driver for your application, you must identify the total length of strip lights you will use and their wattage per metre. If you’ll use 2 metres and this LED strip light is 10w per metre, multiply them, and you’ll get 20w. Then round this up to the nearest available driver, which in this case would be 20w.

Kindly note that you may need more than one LED driver for your project. However, as long as it’s not overloaded, you can connect as many strips of LED tapes as you require to the same driver. 

You can control this LED strip light in many ways. The only thing you need is to get the appropriate LED driver to ensure that it will work. 

You'll need a standard LED driver if you want to use it with a remote control or one of our glass plate controllers. Alternatively, if you prefer a traditional wall dimmer, one where you twist the knob, you must purchase a dimmable LED driver. Just ensure the wall dimmer is LED-compatible to avoid flickering or malfunctions. Also, even if you don’t want to dim this LED strip light (since it’s dimmable), you will still need a standard LED driver to make it work. It’s low-voltage, so you cannot wire it directly to the mains circuit.

Besides that, we’ll also solder a 2-metre cable at the end of the strip, so when it arrives, you can skip all the tedious processes and start with the installation!

This particular LED tape can be cut in increments of 25mm, so be sure to remember to round your measurement down to the nearest 25mm when placing your order. The maximum length of a single strip of this LED tape is an impressive 14 metres! Also, please be informed that this is sold per metre on our website. When you input 2, you’ll get a continuous two meters, and if you put 5, you’ll get five metres.

This LED strip light can produce a warm white LED colour (3000K). If cool white light has a crisp bluish tone and natural white light has no hints of yellow or blue, warm white light has a yellowish glow that resembles an old incandescent bulb! It’s suitable for ambient lighting because its warmth can create a cosy and inviting atmosphere.

Installation is not an issue with this LED strip light. You only need to prepare the compatible driver and controller and review the installation instruction. Also, guarantee that you clean the surface where you’ll mount the strips first so they will adhere properly. 

After all the preparations, peel the cover from the 3M adhesive backing and stick it to your chosen, dust-free surface! When it comes to wiring and other connections, read the installation manual to be guided accordingly. If you’re not confident in DIY-ing the installation, it’s better to call for an electrician.
