If you enclose a strip light in a profile, can you install it anywhere? Well, that depends on the IP rating. If the profile is IP20 and the strip light is IP20, you can only install it indoors since none of the two are water-resistant. However, if the strip light is IP65 and up, even if the profile is IP20, you can install it in your bathroom because what matters the most is the strip lights are waterproof.
