When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. You can use the chart below to match the wattage of an incandescent to its LED counterpart. LEDs use less power and save money.
Warm lighting is similar to conventional lighting and has a softer feel. This lighting is perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.
Daylight - The colour of the lighting is used to represent ‘daylight colour’ indoors. It has neither the softness of warm white or the starkness of cool white.
Cool white - Is a brighter whiter light and is more suited for the bathroom or kitchen.

This kit contains everything you need to get started on your installation straight away - 5 x Stainless Steel Finish, Recessed LED lights & 1 x 15w LED driver. Each light is 12v but the LED driver is 220v & is mains wireable so that you can wire it into a light switch or plug socket. You could also attach a plug to the end of the LED driver cable and just plug it into a spare plug socket... Simple!
The special diffuser cover is designed to allow the maximum amount of light through whilst ensuring that no single LED dots are visible. They perfectly mimic the appearance of old-style halogen bulbs, but with all the benefits of LED. The 120° beam angle will make sure that you receive an even spread of light wherever you choose to put these lights, you won't be left with any dark spots or dim corners.
These lights on average have a 30,000 hour lifetime, meaning that you could make huge savings on your energy bills and not have to replace a bulb for a long, long time!
The 6 LEDs in each light use trusted LED technology, and require just 2.6w per light, reducing your energy costs.
IP rated IP44, these superb quality lights are perfect for a range of applications, and especially in areas such as your kitchen or bathroom (zone 2).
Available in your choice of two stunning LED colours - Warm White, which is a soft, slightly yellowish light or a Natural White which is similar but with much less of a yellow tint.
LED lighting is brighter and longer-lasting than halogen lights, and also cost less money to run, which is the reason so many people are making the switch to LEDs.
These lights each have a cable that is 2 metres long that you need to route back to the LED driver - depending on the size of your installation space, this might not be enough cable - We do sell simple extension cables (2m or 5m) that will just plug into the existing cable.
